Number is any numeric value: age, years of experience, a budget, and similar.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Number. See How to add questions.

3. What it is for

People type a number. It is not the same as Quantity, which is a count with minus and plus.

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

Pick Quantity when you want a headcount or how many items. Pick Number for measurements and amounts.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

Example:

Add a number question for years of experience.

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Number is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
