How to add a Linear scale question

Linear scale is 0 to 10. Use it when stars are too coarse.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Linear scale. See How to add questions.

2. On the form

The field is on the canvas. Question settings opens so you can write the prompt, add hint text, and mark it required.

3. What it is for

People pick a number on the scale. A common prompt is how likely they are to recommend you.

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

Use Rating if you want 1 to 5 stars instead.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

Add a 0 to 10 scale: How likely are you to recommend us?

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Linear scale is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
