How to add a Phone question

Phone is for a phone number. On phones it opens a number pad.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Phone. See How to add questions.

2. On the form

The field is on the canvas. Question settings opens so you can write the prompt, add hint text, and mark it required.

3. What it is for

People enter a phone number. Typical uses: job applications and contact forms.

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

Use Email if you only need to write to them. Use Phone when a call or text matters.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Phone is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
