Quantity is a count with minus and plus. Use it for how many people are coming or how many items someone wants.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Quantity. See How to add questions.

2. On the form

The field is on the canvas. Question settings opens so you can write the prompt, add hint text, and mark it required.

3. What it is for

People tap or click minus and plus, or type the count. Typical uses: number attending, waitlist quantity.

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

Use Number if you need a free numeric value such as years or a budget, not a stepper count.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

Example:

Add a quantity question for how many guests are coming.

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Quantity is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
