Signature collects a name drawn on screen with a finger, mouse, or stylus. Use it for waivers, permission slips, handoff confirmations, or acknowledgement forms. For a typed full name only, use Name. Use Signature when you need the mark itself.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Signature. See How to add questions.

3. What it is for

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

For a typed full name, use Name. Use Signature when you need the mark itself.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

Example:

Add a signature question for parent acknowledgement.

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Signature is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
