How to add a Rating question

Rating is 1 to 5 stars. Use it for a quick score, such as food or service.

1. Add it

In Build, click Add a question, then choose Rating. See How to add questions.

2. On the form

The field is on the canvas. Question settings opens so you can write the prompt, add hint text, and mark it required.

3. What it is for

People tap a star rating. Answers show up in Responses with the rest of the form.

4. Edit and require

Click the field to change the wording. Hover it to duplicate or delete. Required questions show a red asterisk. Optional ones do not.

Use Linear scale if you need 0 to 10 instead of stars.

5. Ask AI

In create a form with AI, describe the form and name this type. On a form you already have, open Chat to Edit (the pencil next to Add a question) and ask in a sentence.

Example:

Add a 1 to 5 star rating for the food.

6. Read the draft

The helper replies with a Draft card. Each field shows its type. Check that Rating is in the list. Click Create this form when you want it. Close if you were only trying a prompt. That does not add a form.
