# How to use SurveyMonkey to QR Code

Paste a SurveyMonkey collector or share link and download a PNG. Generation runs
in your browser. The survey URL never leaves the page.

The tool is at form.ms/tools/surveymonkey-qr-code-generator
[https://form.ms/tools/surveymonkey-qr-code-generator].

1. COPY YOUR SURVEY LINK

In SurveyMonkey, copy the public collector or share URL. Prefer the shortest
link they give you. Long URLs make a denser code.

2. PASTE IT AND GENERATE

Open the SurveyMonkey to QR Code
[https://form.ms/tools/surveymonkey-qr-code-generator] tool. Paste the URL.
Click Generate QR code. You can pick a style next to the preview if you want.

3. DOWNLOAD THE PNG

Click Download PNG. Scan it on a phone at the real distance and lighting of your
table tent or slide. Confirm the correct survey opens and the collector still
accepts responses.

The PNG is a static code. It keeps working while that SurveyMonkey URL still
loads. Question edits on the same collector do not need a new code. Generate a
new one if you close the collector or change the share link.

Formms does not count scans. You will see replies in SurveyMonkey. For a Google
Form instead, use Google Form to QR Code
